Formed
in 1937, we are the oldest classical dance company

 |
BTQ
is a non-profit organization. We receive no
operational or recurrent funding from any
level of government and survive purely on
paid performances at school holiday venues
and on box office from our major annual production
performed at the Queensland Performing Arts
Centre (QPAC) at South Bank, Brisbane |
 |
BTQ
auditions annually for our company members
from ballet schools throughout South-East
Queensland. |
 |
BTQ
performs classical ballets targeted at a young
family audience and we therefore nurture not
only young dance talent in Queensland, but
also new young audiences. |
